The idea for Estelle’s Safe Haven LLC was born from my own personal journey as a caregiver and my deep understanding of the emotional and physical toll caregiving can place on families. Watching loved ones struggle to find trustworthy, flexible respite care made me realize there was a significant gap in the system—a gap where families often had to choose between their own well-being and providing constant care for someone they love.

For years, I worked in the healthcare and home health industry, witnessing firsthand the critical need for quality temporary care. Families often expressed feelings of guilt, burnout, and helplessness when no reliable options were available to give them a break, even for just a few days. The more I listened, the more I understood that respite care isn’t just about the individual receiving care. It’s also about supporting the caregivers who tirelessly give their time and hearts.

I was especially inspired by my grandmother, Estelle, a woman whose life was centered on caregiving. She provided unconditional love, support, and care to everyone around her, often placing others before herself. Naming this business after her was not just a tribute, but a promise to continue her legacy of compassion and community service
I wanted to build something that truly felt like home—a safe, warm, and welcoming space where clients could relax, families could find peace of mind, and caregivers could finally take that much-needed breath without worry or guilt.
